Writer of theatre, screenplays, and poetry.
I am a freelance writer with a First-Class degree in Creative Writing from Warwick University. I love writing theatre, screenplays, and poetry.
My creative writing has been published by Streetcake Magazine, Substantially Unlimited, Re-Side, Discretionary Love, Olney Magazine, and Blue Marble Review.
After being selected for Pentabus Young Writers programme, I wrote a short play that was professionally produced at The Courtyard, Hereford. Plus, BBC Radio Shropshire invited me onto their show to discuss my writing.
The Hive Collective included my latest play in their showcase, which sold out. Plus, I was selected for Swanwick Writers' Summer School's Topwrite Scheme. Furthermore, I am Ironclad Creative’s featured writer in their upcoming newsletter.
Crawley Film Initiative asked me to be the script supervisor for their four-part TV miniseries.
I was shortlisted in Time To Say Thanks’ writing mentorship, a finalist for Rural Arts’ seed commission, in the top six percent of SuperHi Basic Income applicants, longlisted for Beardance Theatre's short play night, and shortlisted for DYSPLA's Storymaker's Residency.
Warwick University funded my first play in 2019, which will be published in Dr Alessandra De Martino Cappuccio's upcoming book alongside an anthology of my poetry. I was invited back to write a second play, which will be performed later this year.
During my degree, I did a student scriptwriting placement with Feral Productions. I researched true stories and adapted them for theatre. Then, I directed, filmed, and produced nine short films.
I am trained and experienced in writing fiction, creative non-fiction, and adaptation. Plus, I have a background in arts marketing.
