Poetry Portfolio

Here are examples of my poetry. My poetry has been published by Blue Marble Review, Re-Side, Substantially Unlimited, Discretionary Love, Olney Magazine, and Streetcake Magazine. Dr Alessandra De Martino Cappuccio selected an anthology of my poetry to feature in her upcoming book and I was awarded a First for an anthology of ecopoetry at university. I write spoken, visual, and written poetry.

Match

Poetry

The last two campers awake have something to confess as they huddle around the campfire.

"Match" was published by Discretionary Love on the 31st of October, 2021. The poem explores a romantic tale through natural imagery.

Who are the women who built science, technology, engineering, and maths, and why don't we know their names?

"The Matilda Effect" is a spoken word poem that calls out the erasure of women from history.

Funfair

How do you feel when there is nothing you can do but hold a loved-ones hand as they go through a crisis?

"Funfair" has been published twice. It was first published by Olney Magazine on the 14th of January, 2022 after another writer nominated my work. Then, on the 2nd of May, "Funfair" was reprinted by Substantially Unlimited.
